Chris Robinson, Ph.D.
Founder and Managing Director of Dalya Partners
Founder of Dalya Partners, LLC and a managing director, Chris has been serving more than a decade as a management consultant, assisting various companies in the life science industry achieve critical objectives and developing strategic solutions to meet a wide range of client specific needs.
Chris has led executive-level consulting teams for major vaccine pharmaceutical companies and emerging biotechnology companies, with particular focus in the areas of Research and Development, Operations, and Government Programs. At Dalya Partners, Chris has assembled tailor-made teams to address high-priority programmatic needs and has led consulting projects including:
- Senior client leadership to develop strategy
- Building organizational capabilities in research
- Product development strategy
- Government proposals
- Leveraging novel technologies to new therapeutic areas
Prior to forming Dalya Partners, Chris was also a founding partner of Valeo Group Consulting, and a Manager Consultant at Pittiglio, Rabin, Todd, and McGrath (PRTM) a highly successful consulting firm with strengths in healthcare and life sciences. While at PRTM, Chris worked on multiple engagements supporting Fortune 100 Pharm and Biotechnology clients in the area developing business strategy and operational improvement, technology transfer, and business process improvement.
His experience also includes significant experience research and development in the realm of genomic technologies and immunology having worked as a production Research & Development scientist at the Joint Genome Institute based in California, performing genomics based research and sequencing to support the Human Genome Project.

Alan Taggart
Managing Director
Alan possesses more than 23 years of high-tech industry experience including 14 years in engineering and technical roles, senior leadership positions, and over nine years in consulting. Working collaboratively with many top companies and government agencies in the country, Alan has used his versatile knowledge and extensive experience to consistently help clients reach their goals.
Prior to joining Dalya Partners as a managing director, Alan served as a Principal Consultant for over eight years at Pittiglio, Rabin, Todd, and McGrath (PRTM), a global management consulting firm with well-regarded expertise in the life science and public health sectors. As a senior level consultant, Alan provided leadership and industry expertise to life science companies in areas such as strategic franchise development, government contract administration, operational performance, and product development. Marquee projects Alan has led and played a critical role include:
- Significantly reducing performance times of clinical trials
- Validating and certifying facilities to ISO regulations
- Developing and planning a biologics pilot plant
- Creating business strategy to improve product quality and reduce client spending by millions of dollars
Alan’s executive leadership and pharmaceutical experience comes as a result of serving as former Vice-President of Government Programs at MedImmune the global biologics unit of AstraZeneca, where he proposed, negotiated, and secured more than $500M in government contracts and managed the relationship with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services during the H1N1 pandemic of 2009/2010. In addition to working on a wide range of other government program contracts, Alan has also led MedImmune’s contract compliance and technical project management divisions.
Alan’s technical and engineering knowledge includes past professional experience at Bausch and Lomb as a Manufacturing and Project Manager, at McDonnell Douglas as a Process Test Engineer, and Edwards System Technology as a Production Manager.
