Pandemic Response Planning and Execution
During the 2009 H1N1 pandemic, Dalya Partners was engaged to help a major influenza vaccine manufacturer develop an integrated project plan for its pandemic response.
We were also consulted to assist the client’s leadership and manufacturing sites execute against the plan. The objective of the $400M BARDA contract was to manufacture and deliver doses of pandemic influenza vaccine to the public on schedule and according to the devised pandemic plan. The Dalya Team worked collaboratively across corporate leadership, site operations, BARDA and critical suppliers in an emergency setting. We were responsible for taking a lead project management role to direct the operations necessary for accurate completion of the pandemic plan, as well as acting as liaison for all communications between the manufacturer, vendors, and the government agencies involved. Our hard work and diligence during the pandemic allowed for a greater than 90% adherence to the dose delivery schedule.
Dalya Partners played an integral role in the planning and execution of the pandemic response to the H1N1 crisis. Through our expertise and the combined efforts of the team, the first pandemic doses were successfully delivered to the nation.
